Madelein has over two decades of experience in finance and accounting, holding a BCom Accounting degree from NWU and an Honours BCompt from UNISA. Specialising in health administration and finance, she has provided consultancy services to healthcare organisations across multiple African countries.

At CrestCare, Madelein's specialised understanding of the financial challenges in healthcare has led her to oversee a range of areas including debtor management, asset tracking, contract negotiation, and thorough reporting. She has played a key role in enhancing existing financial systems and introducing new, innovative systems tailored to the evolving needs of healthcare providers.

Her responsibilities also encompass the development and rollout of quality improvement programmes for clients, ensuring that these initiatives are not only customised to meet specific needs but also adhere to each country's legal and financial regulations. Additionally, she leads training and development for staff to ensure rigorous adherence to these practices.
