Dr. Zandri Pienaar is a skilled and compassionate general surgeon who obtained her postgraduate qualifications from Stellenbosch University. As one of two dedicated surgeons at Swartland Surgery/Crestcare Malmesbury, she combines cutting-edge surgical techniques with an individualized, evidence-based approach to patient care.

Dr. Pienaar specializes in a broad range of surgical services, with a particular focus on minimally invasive endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy), laparoscopic surgery, trauma and acute care, and surgical oncology. Her meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that each patient receives the highest standard of care.

Known for her gentle yet confident approach, Dr. Pienaar believes that technical skill and compassion go hand in hand in achieving the best outcomes. She values open communication with patients and their families, guiding them with empathy through every step of their surgical journey.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Pienaar is an avid reader who enjoys theatre and scuba diving. However, her greatest joy comes from spending time with her family and cold dips in the sea.
