Dr Jon Cornelissen is a dedicated Orthopaedic Surgeon with particular interests in lower limb surgery. Born and raised in a small farming community on the West Coast of South Africa, he has an inherent passion for this special part of the world.

Dr Cornelissen’s commitment to advancing orthopaedic surgery is evident in his research contributions, for which he obtained the Discovery Clinical Excellence Award, the G.T. du Toit Award and the Advanced Orthopaedic Training Centre Best Research Award. His dedication was further rewarded as he ultimately completed both his Orthopaedic degrees Cum Laude. The final portion of his academic journey was that of his fellowship at the Royal London Hospital (NHS) focusing on foot and ankle surgery. He has an avid interest and skillset in robotic knee surgery, which service he will provide in Malmesbury. Outside of his professional life, Dr Cornelissen is a family man, married with two young children striving to enjoy a meaningful work life balance.
